so a few days ago my local trader joe’s closed out of nowhere and nobody in capitol hill knew why. well, now the workers at the store are speaking up

tl;dr, management for store #130 gave workers the day off to participate in the black lives matter king county general strike and silent march on june 12 after working through the worst of the police retaliation to protests in seattle. corporate responded by closing the store immediately and indefinitely, and on monday 6/15 they will make their final decision on whether to close the store permanently
